­­Here are the instructions on how to install and setup the W5 Outlook Add-In.

Installing the W5 Outlook Add-In

  1. Close Outlook 2007/2010/2013/2016. This is very important.

  2. Download and “Run” the installer. The link will be provided to you by BCCORP.

  3. The installer will setup the add-in within your Outlook 2007/2010/2013/2016.

Setting up the W5 Outlook Add-In

  1.  Launch Outlook 2007/2010/2013/2016.  

  2. The W5 Outlook Configuration Screen will prompt for W5 User Information (Figure 1)

  3. Enter your User Id, and password (in both boxes).

  4. Ensure the Connection Type is set to “Local W5”.

  5. Press “Save”.

  6. Now the W5 Menu Item should list W5 as “Online”. This is located in a different location depending on your version of Outlook:

    1. Outlook 2007 shows this right on the menu (Figure 2)

    2. Outlook 2010 and 2013 show this under the “Add-Ins” ribbon tab (Figure 3)

      (NOTE: you must have W5 running in order for the login to succeed)    

Changing Settings

  1. Click on the W5 (Offline/Online Button) (Figure 2 or 3) to show the W5 Outlook Status window (Figure 4).

  2. Now click on the “Settings” button. This will launch the “W5 Outlook Configuration” window shown in Figure 1

  3. After changes are saved, back on the “W5 Outlook Status” window, click the “Login / Re-Login” button. This will log the Outlook Add-in into W5. NOTE: you must have W5 running in order for the login to succeed.
